The TF17 Stereo Set is designed for high fidelity stereo or dual mono recording in the studio or on stage. Combining an iconic "German" inspired mid-forward character with modern FET technology, the TF17 features an extended low frequency response, bold midrange and smooth top end with a fast transient response, high SPL handling, and low self-noise. When used in stereo, the TF17 provides a rich and focused sound stage. Featuring a matched pair of TF17 microphones, this set is ideal for drums and percussion, piano, and vocal or brass ensembles. Each microphone features a K47-style center terminated capsule, precision through-hole components and a discrete, hand-tuned JFET amplifier. The capsules and amplifiers are frequency, gain and noise matched. All TF17 Stereo Sets are assembled, matched, and tested in the USA.
