Description
Description
The FDP2 Filter Antenna is a precision-engineered RF filter designed to optimize performance in both wireless transmitter and receiver systems. It serves a dual purpose: suppressing out-of-band interference and enhancing signal clarity, especially in environments with multiple RF sources. Factory-tuned to a specific frequency between 512 MHz and 692 MHz, the FDP2 ensures only signals within a 35 MHz window around the selected center frequency are allowed to pass through. This makes it an essential tool for professionals working in live sound, broadcasting, or any application where clean and interference-free RF transmission is critical.
In transmitter setups, the FDP2 significantly reduces out-of-band noise, allowing transmit antennas to be placed near receiving antennas without risking signal desensitization. For receivers, it acts as a barrier against disruptive signals, such as nearby walkie-talkies, by filtering out frequencies outside its tuned range. The unit is universally compatible with RF devices from any manufacturer, and its rugged, compact design includes SMA or SSMA connectors. With multiple block options available, users can select the most appropriate frequency range for their specific application, although some upper-range blocks are no longer permitted for use in the USA.
