Sonifex AVN-DIO10

The Sonifex AVN-DIO10 is a compact audio/video interface that facilitates the integration of legacy 3G/HD/SD-SDI equipment with Dante Audio-over-IP (AoIP) networks. It enables simultaneous embedding and de-embedding of up to 16 audio channels, allowing seamless audio routing between SDI sources and Dante networks. The device de-embeds audio channels from an SDI feed and maps them onto the Dante network using Dante Controller software. Concurrently, it re-embeds audio channels from the Dante network back into the SDI output. The AVN-DIO10 supports both 48kHz and 96kHz sample rates in the embedded audio, with sample rate conversion between Dante and SDI paths. Users can configure the unit via a web interface, which provides control over embedding settings, test tone generation, and operational modes. The device can operate in loop-through mode, where the input is fed directly to the output, or in generator mode, utilizing an integrated SDI video generator to function independently as an embedder without an existing SDI feed.
