Sonifex AVN-DIO10-12G

The Sonifex AVN-DIO10-12G is a versatile audio/video interface that facilitates the integration of legacy SDI equipment with Dante Audio-over-IP (AoIP) networks. It supports the full spectrum of SDI standards, from SD-SDI to 12G-SDI, enabling simultaneous embedding and de-embedding of up to 64 audio channels.

This device de-embeds audio channels from an SDI feed and maps them onto the Dante network using Dante Controller software. Concurrently, it re-embeds audio channels from the Dante network back into the SDI output. The AVN-DIO10-12G can operate in loop-through mode, where the input is directly fed to the output, or in generator mode, utilizing an integrated SDI video generator to function independently as an embedder without an existing SDI feed.

A user-friendly web interface facilitates configuration, firmware updates, and status monitoring. Front-panel LEDs provide clear indicators for network clock status, SDI lock status, AoIP primary and secondary link status, and PoE power activity. For installation flexibility, up to three AVN-DIO10-12G units can be rack-mounted using the optional AVN-DIORK kit.
