The STAT Series of contact microphones has been specially developed to bring out the best sound qualities of bowed stringed instruments in louder musical environments, or in amplified performance situations.
Schertler's bridge-mounted STAT-C is perfect for cellists performing in loud musical environments. Designed to bring out the richness of the instrument's lower register, it also produces clarity in the higher ranges. STAT-C is remarkable for its high resistance to feedback, making it an ideal system for rock, jazz or fusion performances with high levels of amplification. It also works very effectively with signal processors and effects units.
STAT-C-PRO includes the pickup, putty, cable and Schertler's sophisticated YELLOW SINGLE preamp with regulated AC power supply. The preamp enables players to control a range of parameters including gain, EQ and resonance.
