This integration eliminates the need for dedicated Dolby hardware, streamlining the workflow for surround sound production.

A standout feature in Version 2 is the Dolby Digital Preview plug-in. By placing this plug-in on a 5.1 mix bus, users can accurately monitor how their mix will sound on consumer devices such as set-top boxes, streaming media players, DVDs, or Blu-ray systems. This real-time preview includes adjustable AC-3 metadata authoring and decoding features, along with dynamic range control (DRC) metering, providing insight into the processing applied during playback.

The suite also offers faster-than-real-time encoding through an AudioSuite plug-in, supporting all AC-3 file formats and allowing for punch in/out re-encoding to save time during revisions.
