It can still faithfully reproduce what has been recorded, but the MC3.1 comes with more inputs, better control and extended channel routing all housed in a stylish aluminium desktop "wedge" form factor.
Additions include a digital SPDIF (24 bit/192kHz) input, giving a total of 5 individually switchable sources. Full cue mix facilities provide separate source selection for main or cue outputs and the two headphone amplifiers. A secondary preset volume control provides repeatable calibrated output.
Speaker level matching remains, now with switchable Mono/Sub output. Low/Mid/High band solo, Internal Talkback Mic with footswitch control, and External Talkback Mic input are all new additions.
