Midas KT-DN32-MADI

The Klark Teknik DN32-MADI is an expansion module designed to integrate seamlessly with Midas M32 and Behringer X32 digital mixing consoles, providing up to 32 channels of bidirectional audio over the AES10-compliant MADI protocol. This facilitates uncompressed, low-latency digital audio transmission across standard IP networks, enhancing flexibility in both live and studio environments.

Equipped with both optical and coaxial MADI ports, the DN32-MADI ensures robust connectivity and supports network redundancy. The optical interface operates over multimode optical fiber cables, allowing for transmission distances of up to 500 meters, while the coaxial interface utilizes standard 75-ohm BNC connectors, supporting distances up to 100 meters. In the event of a primary connection failure, the secondary port automatically maintains the audio stream, ensuring uninterrupted performance.

The module operates using the MADI protocol for accurate clock synchronization across all connected devices. Users can designate the console or the MADI network as the master clock source, providing versatility in various audio setups.
