The CupRig is a Microphone mount designed to be placed in a cup holder of a vehicle. The CupRig has a strong enough neck with the standard 3/8th mic thread to hold any shock mount and microphone combination. The base twists open and close to grip any size cup holder allowing for stable Mic placement in moving or static vehicles. The extra large thumb nut allows for micro adjustments of the shock mount once the rig is in place. The Cup Rig is a very useful set up to have as an addition to hiding microphones in visors or as an alternative to trying to clamp mics in awkward places.
