The KickPlate isolates the mic from structural vibrations & provides a solid platform for the mic to capture sharper transients. The design uses a unique shape made from high density open-cell foam that adapts to various drum sizes from 16 in. to 24 inย. The foam is topped with a heavy laser cutย steel plate providing mass to stabilizes the mic plus a neoprene top that secures the mic in place even when submitted to severe vibrations.
